Keep your greens fresh!

We've been getting asked alot lately how to keep all of these spring greens fresh once picked up from the farm. Regardless of where you are getting your produce, we know how to keep your greens crisp and fresh in the fridge.

Lay your greens out on a damp paper towel

Roll it up so there is paper towel in between the greens as you roll.

Make sure the paper towel is a bit damp before storing in the fridge.

You can store your lettuces, chard, collard greens and herbs this way. They should stay for well over a week - just check to make sure the paper towels are damp in case they dry out. You'll be eating crisp salads for weeks!
